A mid-century modern mantel clock with an emphasis on the modern. Measuring HWD 13.5 x 28 x 7.5 cm, this clock features a silicone coated acrylic case, metal hands, and a glass lens. Designed in the UK by Newgate Clocks, it comes with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.

Powered by a quartz "silent-sweep" movement, this clock produces no ticking sound. However, in a completely silent room such as a bedroom, a faint whirring noise may be audible due to its sensitivity. The clock requires a single high-quality branded alkaline AA battery, which is not included.

To set the time, simply use the adjustment wheel on the back of the clock mechanism. Newgate recommends using a top-condition branded alkaline battery, as old or poor-quality batteries may cause the clock to lose time or stop altogether.

When cleaning the clock, gently dust it with a soft, clean, and dry cloth. Avoid using liquids or cleaning agents, as they may damage the finish. Additionally, ensure that an adequate wall fixing is used to hang the clock, taking into account the wall type and the weight of the timepiece.

To preserve the clock's appearance, keep it out of direct sunlight, as the dial and case may begin to fade over time. The clock is designed for domestic and light commercial indoor use only and should not be used in high-humidity environments, areas with intense heat, or locations with excessive sun exposure, such as a conservatory, greenhouse, or bathroom. Exposure to these conditions can cause the clock, case, and parts to melt, contract, warp, or discolor, and may result in the clock stopping or the hands becoming loose. Damage caused by these environments is not covered under warranty, and no exchanges or repairs can be made.
